Latest release

v1.1.1

Overview

  • This version is available now on the Apple App Store (iOS).
  • Our biggest redesign yet — a calmer daily loop, with records that build themselves as you log.
  • Everything you've already logged is still here.
  • Google Play (Android) is still on an earlier version; we will share when this update is available there.

A calmer daily loop

  • Home is now Today — still the place to log today's learning.
  • Calendar and Gallery are now Journal — browse what you logged by month, including photos and scans.
  • Progress is now Family — tap a child for gradebook, attendance, and their profile.
  • Logging is quicker — write a sentence from Add, use the form, or check off today's list.
  • Log one activity for several kids at once.

Records that build as you go

  • Records appear in the app as you log — read a summary on Today, then email or share when you are ready.
  • School-year dates are automatic — start logging without setup (you can still adjust later).
  • Track a yearly day goal if you count school days instead of hours.
  • Paint attendance onto dates instead of tapping through each one.

Comfort and privacy

  • Dark mode for parents.
  • Your family, logs, activity photos, and worksheet scans are stored in the cloud so you can pick up on any device. Child photos for avatars stay on that phone. Records that build as you go are built in the app and are not stored in the cloud.
  • Tap ? on Today, Family, or Journal anytime for a short tour.

    • Onboarding nested components were hard to read; removed static styling and applied app theme and styling conventions.
    • Sign-in screen primary button incorrectly labeled “Get started”; it now says “Log in”.
    • Custom periods had never been fully implemented and still showed placeholders; complete rework of academic dates and custom periods with tools for finer adjustments.
